We have decided to put the pieces together and to create a public virtual machine package for the benefit of the community (and our students of course). This OPEN Odoo package is optional and NOT mandatory for our courses in ERP Systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To start Odoo, open Firefox on the XServer and type http:\/\/localhost:8069\/<\/p>\n\n\n\n How to establish a connection to the host system<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n In VirtualBox: Activate a Network Adapter, set it to Host-Only-Adapter, put promiscuous mode to Enable all. Go to File > Host-Only-Network-Manager. Check your IP- and DHCP-Configuration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In Odoo: Enable\nNetwork. Stop Firewall by entering \u201csystemctl stop firewalld\u201d into terminal.\nDisable it if you want to. By using ifconfig you can find out the IP-adress of\nthe vm-system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Per default the address of the vm-system will be 192.168.56.101. Check if it is pingable.
